The entire tank terminal in Terneuzen meets all NFPA 25- fire protection requirements thanks to the implementation of the special ITM tool (Inspection, Test and Maintenance) from ZERO Fire Systems ITM (ZFS).
ITM standards
This tool ensures that fire protection at the terminal meets all ITM standards and that the ITM activities are structured and optimised. The fire protection of terminals has to comply with various safety requirements. The special tool from ZFS ensures that the terminal is now fully NFPA 25 compliant.
NFPA 25
NFPA 25 is the basis for ITM for water-based fire protection systems. Effective coordination with NFPA 25 ensures that the extinguishing system works as well as possible and that errors are prevented. This means that there is always a quick and effective response to firefighting.
